The collection of the Dutch Silver Museum

The entire collection consists of Dutch utensils made of silver from 1600 until now. Here you will find objects like cheese slicers, bread baskets and silver spoons for special occasions. We also have an extensive collection of jewelry, showpieces and ecclesiastical silver. Visitors are surprised by work of famous designers, like the Dutch furniture designer Piet Hein Eek and objects from the well known silver factory Van Kempen & Begeer.

The unique collection of silver is presented in an attractive way and organized within themes, like ‘life and death’, ‘eternal fame’ and ‘male/female’. One of the highlights in the world of silver is the interactive table full of stories and activities, all related to silver of course. It is the longest one of its kind in the world!
