A bright future

The foundation aims to acquire, cultivate, research and present the art of silver- and gold smithery. This also includes objects or knowledge related to silver or forging. This also includes specific tools, drawings, designs and documents for example. We aim to not only educate, but also excite and interest the audience in the world of silver. The Dutch Silver Museum chose to fulfill another position: we seek to preserve the trade of traditional silver smith of gold smith by stimulating and facilitating potential smiths.

Visitors, our friends, Donations, gifts, legacy’s, sponsorships and funds make all of this possible. Every contribution is very much appreciated. There are multiple ways to contribute to our mission.
